Located about 7 km from the center of Jokkmokk, the site is secluded at the foot of Ruoutevare, the highest mountain in the area. It stretches all the way to Lake Ruotejaure, the heart of the region in winter. This 25-year-old testing facility features established off-road tracks, access to the frozen lake, garage facilities, vehicle lifts, a lounge, and a heated kota right at the lake entrance.
The ultimate spot to warm up by the wood-burning stove after an icy session- enjoy a fresh cinnamon bun while watching the action on the track.
Every winter, the track layout is freshly surveyed and prepared. The 1.9 km outer track and the 1.5 km inner track are connected at several points and can be combined as desired, bringing the total ice track length to 3.8 km.
